By Cheryl Selleny, Marketing and Communications

The Outsourcing in Clinical Trials Southern California conference in La Jolla wrapped up today. The conference began on Tuesday, September 25, with opening remarks from Sarah Carter, Executive Director, Planning & Platform Services, Amgen. A few of the session topics included: achieving successful CRO/sponsor collaboration; investigating different outsourcing models for different types of companies; and generating strategies for dealing with a merger or acquisition so as not to disrupt ongoing clinical trials.

Day 2 offered several more informative sessions and ended with a speaker hosted roundtable enabling attendees to share insight and solutions to critical challenges facing the industry.

We are looking forward to another round of insightful conversation at next week’s Outsourcing in Clinical Trials conference in Boston. Visit us at booth 40.

Hello Chicago – SCDM 2013

By Cheryl Selleny, Marketing and Communications

The SCDM 2013 Conference was held in Chicago this past week. Although the weather didn’t live up to the “Windy City” nickname – temperatures were in the high 80’s accompanied by a blanket of humidity – the conference was a success. Many attendees buzzed about the informative and captivating sessions. The conference began with a reception on opening night, giving attendees and exhibitors a chance to network. The following two days were intellectually rich with sessions about best practices; improving data quality; different tools and techniques to utilize during studies; project management; and much more. Bracket was pleased to exhibit and share with the attendees our technology offerings .

The Society for Clinical Data Management is a non-profit, international organization of 2,400+ members founded to advance the discipline of clinical data management. SCDM works to bring professionals together to move the industry forward through technological, regulatory, procedural and personnel advances.

If you were not able to attend the conference, you can view the conference webcast .

Looking forward to SCDM 2014, Viva Las Vegas!
